libgammu8 software package provides mobile phone management library, you can install in your Ubuntu 17.04 (Zesty Zapus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libgammu8
libgammu8 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libgammu8 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libgammu8 *
You will get with libgammu8 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
